ITS- National Portrait Gallery- Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize
On Friday 15th November, we went to the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery. I already went the week before but decided to refresh my memory and remind myself of the work displayed there.

-simple yet effective image
- Well balanced with light (from the skirt).
-Focus on the subject with background out of focus.

A bit overexposed.
Doesn't show any character or features in the people.

-Very relatable to anyone wanting to capture a baby.
After I had a quick look, I had a refreshed mind of the images especially those that won and what qualities the judges liked that made them win so I can bare it in mind when I was shooting mine.
After this I asked for recommendations of other exhibitions to see nearby. I was told about one in Somerset House called
'24/7 A WAKE-UP CALL FOR OUR NON-STOP WORLD'. Although this had no relevance to any of my projects I was currently working on, I found it interesting to learn about technology and how we are so reliant on it despite it being bad for our health.
